Der einmalige und berühmte zylindri­sche CDT Piezofolienhochtöner, nun in 3. Generation und die Kugelgehäuse­technik, jetzt etwas ­grösser  (A'Diva- statt Micro-Grösse) erlauben bei wand­nahem Betrieb 45Hz! - 20kHz (87dB/W/m) mittels Wandmontage, auf Regal-/Tischständer oder in kürze auch mit Bodenständer. Understatement-HighEnd oder Luxus-Überflieger-Desktop-Lautsprecher zum wirklich Abheben zwischendurch.

...Fully grown up. Except for size. That pretty much became the bottom line on the desk top. At first it felt seriously disconcerting to be served up such phenomenal resolution within a one-meter listener distance ... That's the kind of resolving power I suddenly had working in an environment where I frankly didn't expect it ... It's with articulation and – there is that word again – resolution that the Stradas mixed it up well beyond their size or price implications ... This design really is so tweaked – dialed, optimised, sharpenend – that surroundings and ancillaries become the only real stumbling blocks ... One instead assumes better driver integration; and improved time coherence ... This has also rhythmic implications. Anything with natural swing swings easier and harder ... this speaker is a timing demon ... The perhaps ultimate on-wall and desk-top speaker.

The Reference Strada system offers a beautifully balanced combination of four qualities that, in my experience, don't always mesh as harmoniously as they do here. The four qualities are openness/transparency, high resolution/definition, expressive (and at times explosive) dynamics, and smooth/neutrally balanced voicing ... Despite its comparatively diminutive size and unorthodox looks, Gallo’s Reference Strada system is a terrifically refined and robust performer that is equally at home when playing high-powered movie soundtracks or the most delicate of musical recordings ... the Reference Strada system is certainly not cheap, but it is worth every red cent of its asking price as it can, quite seriously, stand tall in comparison to systems twice its price. Very enthusiastically recommended.
